John Martyn
John is an Equine Specialist based in Shrule, on the Galway-Mayo border, approximately 30 minutes north of Galway.
He runs Wakefield Equine Services, where he breeds, trains and sells Irish sport horses. His work with horses has given him a deep understanding of equine behaviour, communication and the unique connection that can develop between horses and people.
John is certified in Monty Roberts’ methods of natural horsemanship, an approach which focuses on developing trust, understanding and communication between horse and human. It was through this work and his interest in the relationship between horses and people that he was introduced to Eagala.
He is now also a certified Eagala Practitioner, and firmly believes in the potential of horses to help bring about change in people.
John's goal at Wakefield Equine Services is to bring together his experience in natural horsemanship and Eagala to support personal growth, learning and wellbeing in others.
John is located in: Shrule, Co Galway
